Georgina Hamed

Born in London Georgie's career began soon after completing a make-up course at Greasepaint. Knowing instantly that she wanted to focus her creativity on working within fashion and music she spent the next few years assisting within the fashion circuit on editorial, music and advertising shoots, as well as on shows in London, Paris, Milan and New York.

Georgie progressed to working independently as a make-up artist on fashion and beauty editorials. Establishing an expertise and talent, known for her versatility, her approach to make-up is based on beautiful, flawless skin. Focusing on individual beauty allows her to create clean, natural and minimalist looks through to more dramatic, theatrical looks.

Her work has appeared in magazines such as I-D, The Face, Dazed, Vanity Fair, Tatler, L'uomo Vogue, Elle & Glamour, working with photographers such as Carter Smith, Donald Christie, Julian Broad, Mathias Vriens and Dan Jackson. Finding inspiration through art, music, books, film and travel Georgie has been fortunate enough to travel the world on make-up assignments, she has worked on advertising campaigns with clients that include Nike, Levi's and Hugo Boss and has made up a long list of celebrities including names such as Cate Blanchett, Joely Richardson, Naomi Watts, Amy Winehouse and Naomi Campbell.

Her obsession with beauty lead her to embark on creating a Beauty Boutique with a difference, the studio takes inspiration from her life as a make-up artist and feels very much like a backstage dressing room.
