Mairead Neal is a new London based jewellery designer and healer creating unique and beautiful energy enhanced pieces using precious gems such as diamond, ruby, emerald and aquamarine.
 
Inspired by vibrant colour, Mairead creates delicate pieces with an emphasis on fluidity and balance. She completed silver smithing workshops at the City Literary Institute, and previously worked in the art world at Sothebys and in oriental art before developing her own style of wire worked forms. A well known psychic and healer Mairead enhances each of her handcrafted pieces with powerful healing energy to compliment  the gemstones individual healing qualities. 
 
Initially my passion was focussed entirely on the creation of new and different designs, but she soon started to feel energy flowing from her hands as I created each piece. Without knowing it a couple of ladies that bought her first pieces remarked on feeling different and more confident when wearing the jewellery. It was found that certain gems contained very distinct qualities. Ruby is powerful, compelling and has a fiery yet noble feel to it. Corporate high flyers and strong minded intellectual types were attracted to this gem. Emeralds radiate the most beautiful and gentle vibrational energy. I love to work with this stone as its energy is so soft and healing - in direct contrast to ruby. Citrine is wonderful too - traditionally the money stone - it's a rich honey gold coloured gemstone that Mairead found to be one of the most abundant and positive...
 
People love to know their traditional birth stone, but Mairead also wants to encourage them to use their intuition to feel which colour and design is right for them. The body and mind always knows what it needs . For example some one who lacks confidence in communicating or may have an underactive thyroid is often drawn to turquoise or sapphire which helps unblock and open the throat area. Every gem has its own character and healing quality.
